During the week from September the 27th till October the 1st, 2021, the project partners were hosted by the University of Miskolc in Hungary. The University of Miskolc, which boasts an excellent campus and is the largest university in northern Hungary, organized Teach the Trainer Week in a close cooperation with OVGU.

The program in Miskolc was organized in a mixed format, since some partners could not participate in person due to the pandemic restrictions. Those partners from Russia and Kazakhstan who could be present had a chance to enjoy and appreciate the value of face-to-face communication with foreign colleagues. Every day, training seminars on the latest resource-efficient technologies and plant simulation were held, which were conducted not only by colleagues from universities in Germany and Hungary, but also by representatives of large enterprises, excursions to laboratories were organized. In addition, European colleagues shared their experience and expertise in improving Master curriculum.

On September the 30th, the project participants had a unique opportunity to visit one of the largest Bosh factories in the world, where they could witness how the Lean Production principles were implemented . Another production point of the program was the Japanese S.E.G.A. plant, where the work of a huge warehouse and production lines for the production of electrical components for cars is organized using resource efficient technologies.

Besides training seminars, the project partners enjoyed a cultural program including goulash soup cooked over the fire by our Hungarian colleagues and the bright autumn colors of Hungarian mountains. But the most important result, as the vice-rector of the university Prof. Peter Szucs put it at the meeting, is that the cooperation does not end, since there are ideas for new projects and a mutual interest.
